Sneak peak:

This movie is a sequel of 2017's The Hitman's Bodyguard, featuring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson as the main lead. Despite me enjoying the first movie, the sequel however went to my not-going-to-watch-it-ever-again list. Yeap, that bad.

Perhaps because I really enjoyed watching the first movie, I had high expectations for the sequel. And when it fell, it fell hard and crashed and burned. So what is it that really bother me? First off all, the scripts. I am not a fan of swearing and saying all those words in every sentence I said and I definitely did not enjoyed hearing it. And baby, we got tons of it here. If I thought the first movie got enough swearing, oh boy, the sequel took it to another whole level. That bad guy motivation to destroy Europe was honestly really ridiculous.

Next, the action scenes for me was mehh, guns guns guns and guns. I'm not saying it's bad but it's nothing special either. So-so. Even the car chase scene doesn't really thrill me. And the comedy part was dull. The scripts pretty much a load of foul languages anyway. Slapstick comedy but with poor writing, it doesn't really trigger me to laugh.

As per before, the chemistry between Ryan and Samuel was great. I love their bantering, though some of it were repetitive from previous released. Salma Hayek was indeed a great actress and I really loves her accent, too bad most of her dialogues consisting swearing. And that cameo of Morgan Freeman (I don't really look at the poster before writing review sooo yeah). Oh goshhh, I did not see that coming. That pretty much lights up this movie.

In a nutshell (cehhh, macam karang BI pulop), this movie is a huge let down for me. Character developments? Out. Plot? Out. Dialogues? Out. I am greatly disappointed and definitely would not recommend watching this movie.
